Last week, the students at Elizabeth Ide voted for their favorites from the list of Monarch award nominees. Only students in grades K-3 across the state of Illinois are eligible to vote. They have to read or have read to them at least 5 of the 20 nominees. Over the last several weeks, I read at least 5 nominees to every class at Ide. The results from within our school follow. I have reported them to the state and will report the statewide 
results as soon as I have them.
